How to approach this question
This MMI station tests whether you can reflect on what makes someone good at helping others learn, and connect it to how physicians explain, listen and build trust. Pick one real teacher and describe specific moments, such as how they handled a student who was struggling or how they made a hard idea clear. Name two or three qualities precisely, like patience, honesty about what they didn't know, or high expectations paired with support. Then link each quality to a physician's work with patients, families or trainees, and say which one matters most to you and why. Show self-reflection by noting which of these qualities you already have and which you're still building. When the station turns to the different people physicians teach, think about how each listener's knowledge, stakes and emotions change the way you'd explain an idea.
