Medical school interview practice with AI feedback
The scholr question bank gives you medical school interview practice with AI feedback on every answer. Each question runs on the clock the way the real interview does, and scholr AI rates your answer on every competency the question tests.
Timed like the real interview
Each MMI station gives you reading time and then answer time. Follow-up questions appear only after you answer, the way an interviewer asks them.
Speak or type your answer
Answer out loud and the page transcribes your words as you speak, or type your answer instead. Speaking is the closer match to interview day.
Rated on every competency
scholr AI rates your answer from 1 to 5 on each competency the question tests, such as ethical reasoning or communication.
- 1 Not yet
- 2 Developing
- 3 Competent
- 4 Strong
- 5 Exceptional
What worked and what to work on
Each rating comes with the evidence from your answer behind it. You also see what worked, what to work on and how a stronger answer would go.
A physician-reviewed rubric
The rubric scholr AI scores against was reviewed by physicians who have served on medical school admissions committees.
Your own timing and practice sets

Frequently asked questions
What questions are asked in a medical school interview?
Medical school interviews ask about you and about how you reason. Expect questions on why you want to be a physician, the experiences on your application and how you work with other people. Many interviews also give you an ethical scenario or a health policy issue and ask what you would do. This library holds 200 of these questions across 22 topics.
How do I prepare for a medical school interview?
Practice out loud, against a clock, and get feedback on every answer. Prepare a clear account of why you chose medicine and two or three experiences you can describe in detail. For a scenario question, name the people affected and the options open to you, then choose one and give your reason.
How is a panel interview different from an MMI?
In a panel interview, one or more interviewers question you in a single conversation that can follow your answers wherever they lead. In a multiple mini interview (MMI), you rotate through a circuit of short stations, each with its own prompt and its own interviewer. Each MMI station is scored on its own, so one weak answer stays at one station.
How does scholr AI score an interview answer?
scholr AI rates your answer from 1 to 5 on each competency the question tests: Not yet, Developing, Competent, Strong or Exceptional. Each rating comes with the evidence from your answer behind it. You also see what worked, what to work on and how a stronger answer would go.
Are these medical school interview questions free?
Every question in this library is free to read and practice. Your first three feedbacks from scholr AI need no account. A free scholr account gives you five feedbacks a day.
