Shahzeb is a medical student at the University of Ottawa. Prior to medical school, he completed his undergraduate studies in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program at McMaster University. During his third year, he applied to 4 medical schools and received interviews at Queen’s, Ottawa, and McMaster, ultimately accepting his offer to the University of Ottawa. With a diverse research background, Shahzeb worked at a neuromuscular biology lab at McMaster, contributed to educational research focused on inquiry-based learning, and is currently involved in clinical research in pain medicine and anesthesia. Passionate about mentorship, he has held numerous roles supporting undergraduate and pre-med students, and remains dedicated to helping applicants achieve their goals.
