How to approach this question
This panel interview question tests what you believe is uniquely human in caring for others, and whether you can defend that belief even when a machine might perform better. Choose a task that reflects your values, such as delivering hard news, comforting someone, or making a decision that rests on a person's values, and explain why the human element matters more than efficiency there. Address the strongest counterargument directly, which is that refusing a better tool may harm people. Define what better means in your example, since accuracy and meaning can differ. Connect your answer to your own experience and to the role you hope to play as a physician. Close with where you'd welcome help from technology and where you'd hold the line.
